Here we are love turned to words
Spoke in an misunderstanding
you don't believe me and I can't prove its true
lately we feel like the calm before the storm
I'm broken heart and spirit
I did my best but my best wasn't good enough
I'm broken heart and feeling
and your turning it around and around and I
never trusted you
you broke my heart and nothing else matters
I'm broken heart and spirit
but I could never do you no harm
I look around what do I see
a thousand millon people happy but me
maybe next time I'll use more philosophy
I'm broken heart and spirit
I did my best but my best wasn't good enough
I'm broken heart and spirit
my head is turning around and around and I
never trusted you
you broke my heart and I won't recover
I'm broken heart and spirit
But i could never do you no harm

So was this written for Jennifer Hammond or Angie Baumgardner? Just kidding, Nate...good stuff and I give you tons of credit for posting it.
this was for laura howard. mellisa shannon's sister.
Props to Nathan, for being brave enough to post his first. Why is it that 95% of music is written about a girl? Proof that women ruin EVERYTHING!
HA! Kinda true, but where would we get good songs if it weren't for women inspiring us with their ruinous ways? A world without women would be a world without music... well I guess then all songs would be about gay love...
hmmmm come to think of it, Nathan's song never really says which sex his heartbreaker is, I would have guessed that it is about a bad fantasy-football pick, or his love affair with the Bengals... now THAT is a tragedy!!! ;-)
I wish I had more original Ideas when i write. but, you should always write what you know and even more of what you don't!!! football I know!!!! women......uh not so much...i think.
